Open Positions

The Strategy Unit at Harvard Business School seeks outstanding candidates for a tenure-track position at the assistant, (non-tenured) associate, and full professor levels. We are interested in exceptionally strong candidates with discipline-based training and research skills. We welcome applications from candidates whose research has concentrated on either empirical work or original theory, even if they have yet to explore its practical applications. However, the successful candidate should have a genuine interest in questions of concern to practicing managers. We offer a range of courses on topics including competitive and corporate strategy, global strategy, boundaries and organization of the firm, technology and strategy, managerial cognition, and the economics of competitive interactions.

Requirements

Applicants should have outstanding records in their doctoral programs and/or post-doctoral positions, strong communication skills, and a demonstrated potential and interest to conduct research at the forefront of their field.
