This invitation only conference will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 16 - 17, 2012, beginning with dinner on the 16th and running through 4 pm on the 17th. The Business and Environment Initiative will convene 15-20 senior business leaders who are actively engaged in integrating environmental considerations into their core business strategies and/or are extremely thoughtful about issues related to business and the environment. Our purposes are to showcase the environmental work already being conducted at HBS, to understand participants' perspectives on the most important questions regarding business and the environment and the most promising approaches to the resolution of these questions, and to learn from participants how we and their firms might continue to learn from each other in the future. The agenda is likely to include one or two faculty-led case-based discussions as well as an opportunity for participants to talk about their firms' own work and their own personal perspectives on business and the environment.
