What do you remember as the highlights of SVMP?
The highlight of my time at SVMP was the intensity of the program. Our days were really packed: getting exposure to the case study method from incredible professors, preparing cases with extremely bright peers, socializing late into the evenings, and sharing ideas with people from all over the globe. It was a tremendously stimulating experience.
How did that week impact your life?
The week had an incredible impact on my life. For one, I made lifelong friends that I still see and speak with today. Secondly, it exposed me to HBS, which made the decision to apply to the MBA program easy as I already had a taste of the incredible experience. Third, it gave me access to a network of people that I was later able to leverage professionally.
Did you feel that the SVMP experience was representative of the HBS experience you are living now?
The SVMP experience is quite representative of the MBA program. The schedule is very much the same: meeting with a study group early in the morning, going to class, attending events/workshops, preparing the next day's cases, and then enjoying time with friends.
Now that you have benefited from both the SVMP and the HBS experience, what are your dreams for the future?
My dream is to combine my love for markets and investing with my desire to have a positive impact on the world. HBS has already proven to be the perfect platform for both. My next step is to find a professional environment that will enable me to keep working towards this ambitious goal.
