How to Apply
For your application to be complete, submit the following items:
1) A completed application form
This is completed and submitted online. The application for 2012 in undergoing annual updates and will be available in late February.
2) A completed nomination form
As part of your online application, you will select a nominator. The nominator is a person within the organization where you will be interning during the summer of 2012 who can approve your participation in SVMP. The application system will email instructions to your nominator, who will complete and submit the nominator form online. Given the current economic climate, finding a summer internship is going to be challenging. We strongly recommend that you start looking today.
We have provided a letter that may serve as the initial introduction to the program for your internship supervisor. This letter may help you discuss the advantages of SVMP with your supervisor.
3) An official transcript
Send transcripts in a sealed envelope, signed by the registrar of your school, to:
