Business Plan Contest: Social Venture Track

The Social Venture Track of the HBS Business Plan Contest aims to educate students in the process of creating and evaluating new ventures that have a central focus on the creation of social value. Its goal is to prepare students for opportunities in entrepreneurship sometime during their careers. Social Venture Contest entries may include nonprofit, for-profit, or hybrid model business plans.

News from 2012 HBS Business Plan Contest

On Tuesday, April 24, the 2012 Business Plan Contest finals were held. Congratulations to the winner and runner-up of the Social Venture Track of the Contest! Read the HBS Press Release.

  • RUNNER UP: XinfuGo (team members: Ying Chen, Yixin La and Qiwei (Gary) Shi)

The Harvard Business School Business Plan Contest is the capstone of the MBA Entrepreneurship curriculum, and provides an integrative learning experience for all participants. The Contest is hosted by the Arthur Rock Center for Entrepreneurship and Social Enterprise Initiative.
