Alumni volunteer consulting (HBS Social Enterprise Alumni Association)
Through these pro bono activities, alumni consulting teams in several cities offer nonprofit organizations business management expertise.

Board Fellows
MBA students participate in one-year leadership engagements as non-voting members of a nonprofit organization's board, and complete a strategic project with mentorship from the executive director or a current board member.
Boston-area organizations Program runs from September 2007 through May 2008. Organization applications are due in late August 2007.
Harbus Foundation
Created by Harbus News Corporation at HBS, the Harbus Foundation provides grant and venture philanthropy awards to organizations promoting education, literacy, and journalism within the greater Boston metropolitan area. Application for Harbus Foundation funding is by invitation only.
Boston-area organizations Grants are awarded annually each April, and venture philanthropy consulting engagements typically run from February to April.
Student Clubs
The activities organized by Student Clubs of HBS, Inc. include distinguished speakers, conferences, treks/trips, career fairs and more. The Social Enterprise Club and the Social Enterprise Conference and a number of related clubs frequently host speakers from the social sector.

Volunteer Consulting Organization
Teams of students offer pro bono consulting to Boston-based social enterprises. Each year, the VCO identifies and outlines projects at organizations and matches student teams with opportunities. Throughout the year, the VCO offers support through a client fair, numerous trainings and peer advisory relationships.
