The 2008 HBS Social Enterprise Alumni Association Convening, "What Business Leaders Need to Know About Climate Change," is the first global HBS alumni gathering ever to address Climate Change and its implications. Keynote address by James J. McCarthy, Alexander Agassiz Professor of Biological Oceanography at Harvard University and a working group co-chair of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize winning Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is a look into the science behind climate change and a brief review of macro-level trends and implications.
