Twilight

A perfect winter day, late afternoon. The setting sun is coming strongly off the lake, casting long, deep blue shadows on the snow. I wanted to capture the peacefulness and quiet beauty of the moment; the warm, soft light contrasted to the cold sharpness of the snow and shadows.
