Chelsea Houseboat

We lived in England for three years. I was constantly searching for subjects that captured the quiet and solitude that characterized so much of the country for me. I came upon this houseboat during an early Sunday morning drive. It was anchored on the Thames, upstream from central London. I was taken by the stillness of the water and the quality of the early morning light that was coming from behind, sparkling on the water.
