The Global Business Club is a student-run organization at the Harvard Business School. We provide services to support students interested in growing their global intelligence, exchanging ideas about global issues and learning from industry leaders about emerging and established markets and what it takes to navigate them successfully. We also promote international career opportunities in these markets.

MISSION

The global business club, is dedicated to supplementing the HBS classroom education in order to transform the student body into truly global citizens with international perspectives and refined geo-political context. We believe these traits will contribute to the success of students as savvy multinational business executives. Our activities are professional, educational and social in nature and are open to all members of the Harvard community.

ACTIVITIES

The Global Business club hosts panels and fireside talks focused on topics such as global business development, global issues, and conducting business across borders. We have a great set of events lined up for the year including fire side chats and expert panels about global issues such as transnational sustainable business, cultural IQ for international female executives, international trade policy, etc. We will also have faculty and student “Think and Drink” sessions focused on the BRINCS countries to help members grow broad global intelligence about the realities of conducting businesses in some of the hottest emerging economies in the world.

We also have a few surprise events in store!

There are multiple ways for interested organizations to connect with us for recruiting purposes:

Our Co-presidents would be happy to work with you to get the word out on relevant internship and full-time opportunities: Mariana Albano (malbano@mba2017.hbs.edu) and Nathan Hancock (nhancock@mba2017.hbs.edu).
