Describe your organization in three to five sentences.
Medallia is the fastest growing Customer Experience Management Company in the world. We give leading brands access to their clients’ eyes, ears, and hearts so they can design and deliver incredible customer experiences.
How long has your organization been recruiting at Harvard Business School and
what roles do you hire for?
Medallia has ramped up its formal HBS recruiting program over the past year, and we are pleased to announce that we launched our MBA
internship program in summer 2015. For our full-time positions we hire MBA students for a number of different roles, including Engagement Managers and Customer Solutions Managers. Our summer MBA interns take on a variety of exciting projects on teams throughout Medallia; summer 2015 interns worked on the marketing, product management, and customer solutions teams.
What recruiting tactics have you found most successful in engaging with
students and/or alumni at HBS?
Medallia connects with HBS talent in a number of different ways. This year we look forward to attending Company Information Day, hosting in-person small group information sessions, and working directly with HBS clubs to facilitate trek visits to Medallia's headquarters in Palo Alto. We will also leverage our network of awesome Medallia HBS alumni to connect with current students to share more about what their career journey has been like post-HBS.
Give us your elevator pitch – what is the one thing students should know about working for you?
Leave the professional air at home and bring your full self to work. We care
about the whole person – not just who you are 9-5. We pride ourselves on being
incredibly intellectually rigorous, but our true differentiator is the
authenticity of our people and, by extension, our culture.
Is there anything else you would like to share with fellow recruiters or
those who are new to recruiting with HBS?
It is a pleasure to work with HBS and engage with their talented student
population. HBS students are a wonderful addition to our growing company and we
look forward to bringing more HBS interns and full-time hires into Medallia as
we expand by leaps and bounds!
