The establishment of a Data Analysis Committee that also has the capability to participate in strategic planning.

A collaborative approach is necessary to create a mapping of internal and external assessment instruments, determine their merit and worth, and to make recommendations. In our school, specific benchmarks were created for Math and Language Arts and the results are used to drive the instructional process. The committee will be meeting this summer to review last year's results and, again, make specific recommendations to be shared with the staff in September.
