BOSTON -- The HBS Women's Student Association hosts its ninth annual business leadership conference at the School on Saturday, January 22, 2000, beginning at 8 a.m. in Burden Auditorium.
Titled "Women Enriching Business," the day-long gathering is designed to celebrate the richness of women's accomplishments in the business world -- especially those of HBS alumnae -- as well as create a sense of collaboration and community between current MBA students and women business leaders.
Conference keynote speakers will include Candice Carpenter (MBA 1983), CEO of iVillage Inc.; Judy Lewent, chief financial office and senior vice president of Merck & Co., Inc.; and Heidi Miller, chief financial officer of Citigroup.
The conference will also feature 15 morning and afternoon panel sessions, with an array of experts discussing topics such as "Consulting in the Information Age," "Women Shaping the High Tech Industry," and "Cultivating a Mentor and Building your Career."
