BOSTON -- In a region that represents nearly one-fifth of the world’s population, the Pacific Rim, Asia, and the Indian sub-continent stand at an important point in their long history, thanks to the impact of the Internet.
Asia at the Dawn of the Millennium, the theme of this year’s Asia Business Conference at HBS, will feature opinion and analysis from among 40 Asian and American business and policy leaders.
Keynote speeches by Dr. Ronald Chwang, former CEO of Acer America, and current president of Acer Technology Venture; Peter Yip, CEO of China.com; and Guangshao Tu, CEO of the Shanghai Stock Exchange highlight the two-day event beginning Friday, January 28, at 3 p.m., with introductory remarks in Burden Auditorium by Jim Hildebrandt, director of Bain & Company, Asia.
