BOSTON - The Webby Awards, the leading international honor for the Web, has recognized Harvard Business School Working Knowledge as an Official Honoree, a distinction that recognizes work exhibiting remarkable achievement.
Included in The Webby Award’s education category, HBS Working Knowledge is a free online forum with more than 100,000 weekly readers. The site provides a first look at new work from among the more than 200 HBS faculty at the forefront of their diverse fields of expertise. By presenting the School’s intellectual capital in a way that can be easily accessed by top practitioners, HBS Working Knowledge serves as a valuable source of inspiration for executives, entrepreneurs, and managers seeking to keep their organizations at the leading edge of innovation and change.

Hailed as the “Oscars of the Internet” by the New York Times, The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet, including Web sites, interactive advertising, online film and video, and mobile Web sites. The awards are judged by a panel of the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, a global organization comprising 500 leading international experts and dedicated to the creative, technical, and professional progress of the Internet and interactive media.
The 11th Annual Webby Awards received a record 8,000 entries from over 60 countries and all 50 states. Out of more than 8,000 entries submitted, fewer than 15 percent received the designation of Official Honoree.
