BOSTON - Harvard Business School Publishing (HBSP) is proud to announce that HBR IdeaCast www.hbrideacast.org, the company’s weekly podcast featuring breakthrough ideas and commentary from leading thinkers in business, has recently earned a spot on the People’s Choice Best of 2006 and Staff Best of 2006 on iTunes.
Launched in May, 2006 as a bi-weekly program, HBR IdeaCast has moved to a weekly format and continues to be a top-ranked business podcast on iTunes with over 100,000 downloads each month. Hosted by Online Editorial Director, Paul Michelman, HBR IdeaCast features interviews and insights from top thinkers in the fields of management, strategy, innovation, and leadership.
In this week’s special new year’s episode, HBR IdeaCast asks six management experts for the resolutions they think businesspeople should make in 2007. The resolutions recommended by the guests - Tom Davenport, Herminia Ibarra, Tamara Erickson, Paul Hemp, William Taylor, and Rosabeth Moss Kanter – include: make more decisions based on science; spend a day in the virtual world Second Life; and expect more from your employer.
Future episodes of HBR IdeaCast will include a discussion with Anthony J. Mayo about his book Paths to Power; an interview with Harvard Business Review Editor, Tom Stewart on HBR’s special issue, “The tests of a leader;” and a talk with Ram Charan about his latest book, The 8 Know-Hows.
HBR IdeaCast is available for download on Harvard Business Online, the Web site of HBSP; iTunes; and through many other podcast aggregators and distributors.
