2017 Commencement Highlights

Harvard Business School (HBS) held its 107th Commencement exercises on Thursday, May 25 with a diploma ceremony on its campus in Boston. Nine hundred and thirty students received their MBA degrees in a cold, wind-swept rain in front of the School’s Baker Library | Bloomberg Center. Awards

Dean's Award - One member of the MBA Class of 2017, Andrea Coravos, and two doctoral candidates, Tami Kim and Ryann Manning, have been named recipients of Harvard Business School’s prestigious Dean’s Award.

Alumni Achievement Awards - Harvard Business School yesterday afternoon conferred its most important honor, the Alumni Achievement Award, on six distinguished graduates as part of the Class Day ceremony for the MBA Class of 2017, who will receive their degrees on Commencement Day today.

Leadership Fellows -The Leadership Fellows Program gives nonprofit and public-sector organizations the opportunity to maximize their effectiveness by leveraging the experience, energy, and analytical skills of MBAs for one year at a salary partially supported by HBS.

Andrew Cone (MBA 2017) will give this year’s student class day address on May 24. He studied the history of art and architecture at Harvard College and worked in marketing and brand strategy at Ogilvy & Mather before coming to HBS. After graduation, he will spend one year in strategic planning at The Whitney Museum of American Art as an HBS Leadership Fellow.
