40 Under Forty: Marc Ricks, 37
Re: Marc Ricks (MBA 2003)
The move took his career in a different direction. He joined the city payroll as a policy adviser and quickly worked his way up, serving as chief of staff for then-Deputy Mayor Daniel Doctoroff from 2005 to 2007. He was the point man in crafting the Bloomberg administration's sustainability road map, PlaNYC, before leaving to become vice president of infrastructure at Goldman Sachs.
