In fact, Harvard is a leader in the integration of technology management courses with more conventional business skills. A technologist by training, Prof. Iansiti says the aim is to enable executives and IT specialists to have constructive arguments rather than misunderstandings. He says: "We want someone who does not have a lot of experience in technology to be able to ask the right questions and not feel funny about asking what is going on."
