Obtain cross-registration petition* Your home school Registrar's Office or on-line at Harvard University Cross-registration (*Fellows see FAQ page for registration instructions).    
Obtain signature of HBS faculty member(s) or authorized assistant Faculty signature(s) on your petition indicate their willingness to teach you. Registration in the course is dependant upon the results of the cross-registration lottery. Before the petition deadline of Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012 HBS Faculty Directory
Complete on-line lottery registration poll (poll opens on Jan. 18) This poll will collect your basic biographic information as well as allow you to tell us your course lottery preferences. You should only submit course requests through the poll if you have the faculty member's signature on your petition. Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012 IMPORTANT NOTE: After submitting the poll, you cannot return to it and edit your selections; you will have to resubmit the entire poll. If an applicant has more than one submission, we will count the most recent submission. Please plan your poll submission carefully!

Cross-registration lottery Lottery will be held on Jan. 27, 2012 for remaining open seats. Results are emailed to cross-registrants that night. MBA Registrar Services can be reached at mbacrossreg@hbs.edu or 617.495.9459
Pick up full course materials Students admitted to courses may pick up full course materials beginning February 1st. Cross-Registrants that are not HU students (including Fellows and Post-Docs) must bring a check/money order to receive materials ($200 per 3-credit course/$100 per 1.5 credit course). Receiving your grade 1. MBA Registrar Services will report your grade to your home school registrar's office in January for Fall Term courses and in May for Winter Term courses.
2. You will then receive your grade directly from your home school.
3. Inquiries regarding the timeframe for receiving your grade, or regarding grade conversion should be directed to your home school registrar.
