Transcripts and Certificates of Attendance

A transcript is a sealed document containing a record of all the courses taken by a student by term in the MBA Program along with his/her final grades and the degree received, if applicable. To ensure the confidentiality of these records, requests must be made in writing bearing the student's signature for verification. Please note that transcripts cannot be sent via fax or electronically via e-mail.

A certificate of attendance is a letter confirming a student's attendance and degree signed by the Registrar and bearing a raised seal. Because it contains no confidential information, this certificate can be ordered by simply e-mailing our office or calling us at 617.495.6247 (choose option 1). Please note that a certificate may be sent by fax, though the seal will not be visible on the facsimile. Certificates may not be sent electronically via e-mail.

Processing time:
Please allow three business days for processing. Alumni records dating back to 1980 or earlier may require additional processing time. Rush delivery via Federal Express is available for $10 per address.

Transcripts may not be faxed. If you require urgent confirmation of your attendance and degree, please e-mail our office to request a certificate of attendance.

Transcript requests should include the following information:

• Name under which the student was registered
• Years of attendance and/or graduation year
• Number of transcripts desired
• Mailing address (or addresses)
• Whether multiple transcripts (if applicable) should be sealed individually or sent in one envelope
• Contact telephone number or e-mail address
• Alumnus/Alumna's signature

To verify that your certificate or transcript request has been processed, please provide a contact e-mail address or telephone number and ask us to contact you to confirm that your order has been processed.

If you require Federal Express shipping, please note this on your request. We will send the transcript prior to receiving your payment, but we do request that you send the payment as soon as possible. (See cost information below.)

Cost:
We are happy to provide five transcripts per calendar year at no charge. Please note that for orders over the first five transcripts, there will be a $2 charge for each document. For example, if you request ten transcripts, the charge would be $10. (The first five are free of charge, and the additional five transcripts are $2 each.)

Certificates of attendance are provided free of charge.

If you require rush delivery via Federal Express, the charge is $10 per address.
