College Students, Now Is the Time! – Apply Through the 2+2 Deferred Admissions Process
Undergrads, secure your spot in a future HBS class now! The deadline for our 2+2 deferred admissions process is approaching on April 25, 2024, at 12:00 noon Eastern Time. This unique opportunity is open to those in their final year of college (or a master's degree program if you entered directly from your undergraduate studies). By applying to HBS via 2+2, you could secure admission now and spend the next two to four years gaining valuable professional experience before embarking on your MBA journey.

Round 2 Application Decisions
Tomorrow, Wednesday, March 27th is the big day! At 12:00pm (noon) Eastern time, Round 2 decisions will be available via your Application Status page. We truly loved getting to know all of you. Tomorrow, there will be one of three decisions: Accept, Waitlist, or Release. Accept and Release are more self-explanatory; if you are invited to the waitlist, it means you are a strong candidate, but we have not made a final decision yet (please take it as a good sign!).
To all who applied to the Class of 2026, thank you for your interest in HBS and sharing your stories with us. You continue to inspire us, and we feel honored to have met you.
Round 2 Interview Invitations
A big thank you to all of you who applied in Round 2. We have loved reading your stories and hearing about the ways in which you are making a difference in the lives of those around you. We have been so impressed and inspired by your journeys.
Next week, on Wednesday, January 31 at 12:00pm (noon) Eastern Time, everyone who applied in Round 2—or received a “Further Consideration” decision in Round 1—will receive an update via the Application Status page.
There are two possibilities:
Invite to Interview – Congratulations, you are moving forward in our application process. You will receive additional information regarding the interview process on January 31; you will then be able to start signing up for an interview slot on Thursday, February 1. We are offering both in-person and Zoom interviews from February 9th – March 1st.
Early Release – While we enjoyed getting to know you, we are not able to move you forward in the application process. But please remember, we are very reapplicant friendly and 10% of our class are reapplicants.

Last Call for Round 2 Applicants and Happy Holidays
As we close out 2023 and head into our winter break here on campus, our Admissions office remains busy preparing for Round 2 applications. For those of you applying in Round 2, we are excited to meet you! Here are a few things to keep in mind over the holidays:
- The Round 2 application deadline is January 3, 2024 at 12 PM (noon) ET. This is the final opportunity to apply to the MBA Class of 2026.
- Additional resources for applicants include our FAQ blogpost, App Tips videos, and MBA Application Guide.
- HBS is closed from December 23 through January 1. We will reopen on January 2, 2024, will be monitoring ApplyTech@hbs.edu if you have any technical challenges with the application; we will respond to other messages after the office reopens.
