HBS-HSDM Joint Degree Program: Admission

A pplicants interested in the MBA/DMD Program apply to HBS and HSDM separately and are selected independently. When applying, students must identify their interest in the joint degree program.

While each school will maintain its separate admissions timetables, all applicants interested in the joint degree program are required to apply to HBS in the first two of three rounds. All applicants interested in the joint degree program are required to apply to HSDM by the December deadline.

Students who are currently enrolled in the first or second year of the HSDM DMD Program will be considered for the joint MBA/DMD Program only if they have completed the additional course and summer internship requirements on a "current" basis and according to the timetable prescribed for students already admitted to the joint program. Once a student has been admitted to and enrolled in the joint MBA/DMD program, the student must complete both degrees successfully in order to achieve graduation from Harvard.
