    Global Partners Students
    Below outlines the work related to your project with HBS. Below outlines the work related to their FIELD 2 coursework. Students are also involved with their five other fall courses, as well as on-campus activities.

    Global Experience Office (GEO) at HBS begins outreach to source projects for FIELD 2.

    Potential Global Partners express interest and work with GEO to create viable project idea(s). Main contact for student team (Project Sponsor) is identified.

    Projects are reviewed and selected by HBS faculty. Global Partners and projects are confirmed.

    Students begin their two year MBA program in late August.

    Global Partners Students
    Below outlines the work related to your project with HBS. Below outlines the work related to their FIELD 2 coursework. Students are also involved with their five other fall courses, as well as on-campus activities.

    Agreement documents reviewed, signed, and returned to HBS by September 27.

    Students begin first semester, including FIELD 1 coursework on leadership intelligence.

    Students rank location preferences for the FIELD 2 immersion locations.

    Global Partners Students
    Below outlines the work related to your project with HBS. Below outlines the work related to their FIELD 2 coursework. Students are also involved with their five other fall courses, as well as on-campus activities.












    Global Partner participates in an initial conversation with the student team.

    Students learn their FIELD 2 immersion location, Global Partner, and receive their project.

    Students participate in a two day DASH exercise, focused on helping them develop and test their project ideas in the Boston market.

    Students conduct basic research on the immersion country, as well as the industry of their Global Partner organization.

    Students reach out to coordinate an initial conversation with the Project Sponsor, to be held between October 26-November 10.

    Conversations and email correspondence with the student team continues.

    Students coordinate additional conversations with Project Sponsor as necessary (typically 1-2).

    Students prepare to present the five leading ideas for their new project or service to the HBS faculty.

    Project Sponsor RSVPs for dinner event on Thursday, January 9th.

    Project Sponsor works with student team to arrange meeting schedule for January immersion.

    Students complete their five leading ideas for the new product or service, and share this with their Project Sponsor.

    Student team works with Project Sponsor to arrange meeting schedule for January immersion.

    Students wrap up work before finals.

  • January 2014

    Global Partners Students

    Project Sponsor welcomes student team onsite beginning January 7th. Project Sponsor will meet with students during time allocated for work between Tuesday and Friday, and for the final presentation on Monday, January 13th.

    Students arrive on January 6th at hotel and participate in scheduled course activities with HBS faculty. Initial on-site meetings with Global Partners take place on January 7th at time arranged between Global Partner and students.
