As head of Allis-Chalmers, Falk introduced a product line of earth-moving and other heavy machinery, including tractors, which used the internal combustion engine. Falk was hugely successful in leading Allis-Chalmers into the competitive market for farm tractors by creating a full line of agricultural implements. By the time of his death, Allis-Chalmers had established itself as the third largest producer of farm equipment.
