Richard S. Fuld, Jr.
Fuld took the helm of Lehman Brothers when it was spun-off by American Express in 1994. Over the next ten years, he transformed the small bond trading firm into one of the most respected full service investment banking and brokerage firms on Wall Street. While many investment houses suffered during the collapse of the internet boom, Lehman prospered by building its bond business, investing in equities in Europe, and enhancing its overall banking and research capabilities.
