The HBS campus network is at the center of our integrated enterprise. Utilizing a highly redundant and fully integrated wired and wireless network, HBS uses open Internet protocols to transmit data and video to all corners of the campus and around the world. The network features a high-speed gigabit fiber-optic backbone (1000 megabits per second), 100 Mbps desktop connections, and both 11 and 54 Mbps wireless Ethernet (utilizing IEEE 802.11 A, B & G standards) throughout the 35+-acre campus. Our network has multiple connections to the public Internet as well as a high-speed connection to the Internet 2 research network.
