HBS classrooms feature the latest in presentation, video production, and eLearning technology. Each room has three fully configurable teaching zones including three high-output LCD projectors and moveable boards. All classroom technology is controlled from a user-friendly LCD touch panel located at the faculty lectern that also serves as the classroom personal computer workstation. All classrooms accommodate high-resolution document cameras and interactive "smartboard" technology for in-room and distance education. Many rooms include a built-in polling system with a graphical seat chart display that is integrated into student desks and the AV control system so faculty can spontaneously survey students during a case discussion.
The video production system includes a high-quality video camera located in the back of each room with connection points for additional cameras in alternate locations. Room-to-room connectivity and remote site interactive video conferencing is provided by connecting to the HBS Central Media Control Room.
