+More
JavaPoll
The HBS polling application combines ease of use with incredible control and flexibility. Anyone at HBS can create a poll in minutes, using a simple Web-based form on the HBS Intranet.
VideoTools
The
HBS Video Showcase enables faculty to embed video into online cases or assignments, build custom video libraries specific to their courses, and store video clips for use later in the classroom. Users can visit the video library to view video storyboards, play videos, and search online video (and more than 7,000 videotapes) for spoken words or phrases.
Seating Charts
Interactive seating charts link to background information about each student. Faculty use the seating charts and associated student biographic information to learn about the students prior to each class and to identify students with relevant experience in the topics to be covered during a particular class session.
Course Registration
MBA students register for all second-year courses online, using an automated system that combines electronic bidding with random selection to ensure fairness.
Exam Uploads
Students can upload selected exams onto dedicated Intranet sites, eliminating the need for time-consuming and expensive "print labs" while ensuring accuracy and security.
Grade Reporting
Faculty submit all course grades electronically using a custom tool developed in-house to enhance accuracy, ensure security, and vastly reduce data entry and processing time. Students then view their grades online through a personalized interface with appropriate detailed information.
