Alumni & Healthcare Professionals

"The healthcare industry is rapidly changing. The introduction of new technology and the capturing of information in a usable format will lead to the rationalization of the industry in ways that people have not even considered at this point. This is true for suppliers, buyers, users and providers of services. When knowledge becomes transparent in the healthcare industry, the market will become efficient very quickly."

HBS Health Industry Alumni Association

The first alumni interest club at Harvard Business School, the HBS Health Industry Alumni Association helps alumni remain connected to each other and the School. This networking model has been successful, as the club now boasts more than 700 active members and sponsors many educational events a year. Alumni interested in any segment of the healthcare economy are invited to join the club.

The HBS Health Industry Alumni Association conference was held in November 2008 with nearly 300 healthcare professionals in attendance. Congratulations to Bob Higgins, recipient of the Beatrice D. Ellerin Award for 2008. Visit the conference website for a full list of speakers.
