Global Alumni Events
As part of the School's greater effort to promote alumni connections through lifelong learning, the HBS Global Leadership Forum brings together active alumni and prominent thought-leaders to examine timely business issues. Past locations for the Global Leadership Forum have included Washington, D.C. (2006); London (2005); and Shanghai (2004). The next Global Leadership Forum will take place in 2010, with the location to be announced.
During its centennial year, the School convened more than a dozen academic and industry colloquia on topics ranging from entrepreneurship and creativity to healthcare to the future of market capitalism. For alumni, in addition to more than 50 regional celebrations around the world, the culminating event was the Centennial Global Business Summit on October 12-14 2008. The summit brought together nearly 2,000 graduates to engage in a dialogue with leading figures in business and society on the issues that will shape global management for decades to come.
Global Alumni Clubs and Associations
Harvard Business School has more than 85 alumni clubs and associations in over 30 countries. Alumni groups provide a wide range of professional, educational, and social programs within their communities reinforcing the HBS mission "to educate leaders who make a difference in the world."
