The Business, Government, and the International Economy Unit of Harvard Business School seeks candidates for full-time tenure-track positions starting July 2015.
All applicants should have excellent academic credentials and a demonstrated potential for conducting outstanding research. The School is particularly interested in applicants with interdisciplinary interests and strong records of, or potential for, excellence in teaching.
Applicants completing or having completed a Ph.D. in political science with research interests in international political economy or comparative political economy should submit a complete application by October 1, 2014. These candidates should select the job title option “Tenure-Track Position: Political Science” when choosing a position on the application.
Applicants completing or having completed a Ph.D. in history with research interests in public policy, democratic governance, economic development, and/or political economy should submit a complete application by November 7, 2014. These candidates should select the job title option “Tenure-Track Position: History” when choosing a position on the application.
Applicants completing or having completed a Ph.D. in economics, especially with research interests in macroeconomics, international trade and finance, public economics, political economy, environmental economics or development should submit a complete application by November 15, 2014. These candidates should select the job title option “Tenure-Track Position: Economics” when choosing a position on the application.
Applications should include curriculum vitae, description of research-in-progress, published articles or working papers, dissertation chapters or other writing samples, statement of teaching interests and, if applicable, teaching evaluations. In addition, three letters of recommendation are required, which should be submitted online directly to the School by the referees.
