Botir is a Ph.D candidate at Harvard Business School. Previously, he was a full-time Research Associate at Harvard Business School and a John M. Olin Fellow in Empirical Law and Finance at the Program of Corporate Governance at Harvard Law School. Before joining Harvard, Botir obtained his M.A. in Economics degree from Duke University and my B.S. from the Management Development Institute of Singapore. Earlier in his career, Botir worked as a lead economist at the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.
Botir's research interests revolve around the impact of emerging technologies and new information sources on financial reporting, enforcement, regulatory compliance, investor communication, and decision-making.
