Andrew Hillis is a PhD student in Business Economics, a joint program through Harvard's Department of Economics and Harvard Business School. His research interests concentrate on applied microeconomics, particularly in development, health, education, and behavioral economics.
Prior to joining the HBS Doctoral Program, Andrew worked as a research assistant and manager for Yale economist Dean Karlan at Innovations for Poverty Action and for Daniel Ho at the Stanford Law School. He received his B.A. in Public Policy from Stanford University in 2010 and is from St. Louis, Missouri.
