Arthur I Segel

Poorvu Family Professor of Management Practice

Arthur Segel is the Poorvu Family Professor of Management Practice associated with the Finance and Entrepreneurial Management units at Harvard Business School where he has been writing cases and primarily teaching courses in real property since 1996. He is an honors graduate of Harvard College (1973) and Stanford University Graduate School of Business (1975). At Harvard Business School, Professor Segel has written extensively in the areas of securitisation, distress investing, development, sustainability, urbanization and globalization. In the Spring of 2016, Professor Segel was affiliated with the Said School of Business at Oxford University. In 2016, Prof. Segel was elected to membership in the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
