Vijay is a PhD candidate in Business Economics at Harvard University. His primary areas of interest are macroeconomics, household finance, and banking. His research has focused on estimating the effects of monetary policy, analyzing household consumption behavior, and deriving optimal bank regulation. Prior to graduate school, he worked as a researcher at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and as an analyst at Goldman Sachs. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania, with degrees in economics and electrical engineering.
