Name: Massimo Fiorella
Email: massimofiorella+kiwilocal.net
Idea: In a sentence we could say that "Kiwi is a sort of local digital board enabling people to share profiles and messages with others nearby: a way to simplify interaction between unknown people in the same place or event". "It consists in a free smartphone app that simplifies interaction among unknown people in real life: it provides information about who is nearby and gives a set of tools to start conversations and your social networks". Our keywords are people, local, social and our motto is "People nearby can be the answer". People need information! Neither Google nor Facebook give real-time information about the unknown person few meters near you. Kiwi is the tool that provide those missing information.
Status: We are ready to launch our application in Italy. Please check our web site: www.kiwilocal.net. The first goal of Kiwi is to reach a critical mass of users in order to activate network effects and start to grow virally. Any kind of revenue stream should not decrease the functionality of the app by annoying users with undesired advertisement banners.
Skills: Please see my profile on Linkedin: Massimo Fiorella. For everything you need, please contact me at: massimofiorella@kiwilocal.net.

Name: Michael Quartey
Email: michael.quartey+cazemo.com
Idea: Launch a new stock exchange. In an era where we can trade stocks on margin from anywhere in the world with just an Internet connection, where 24hr news channels can wittingly or unwittingly contribute to market manipulation and where the big players use sophisticated automated trading software for high frequency trades, is it any wonder that the markets resemble nothing more than a casino? I believe that the 21st century stock market is fundamentally flawed and is in need of major surgery if it is to serve the needs of main street rather than Wall Street.
Status: Currently looking to pull together a team of talented individuals. Initial work would focus on a a feasibility study before progressing on to a full business plan if the business case for the idea is a good one.
Skills: Business Plan Development, Leadership, Project Management, System Design. I am a graduate of University College London (1997 BSc Hons Statistics & Economics).

Name: Amol Parikh
Email: amol.parikh+gmail.com
Idea: Want to make customizable watches available to customers. Planning to come up with a website (it should show all kinds of watches available at a store) where a customer can see different watches and can choose the dial, strap and body of his choice. Thus, he will have a watch of his own liking. Once when a customer orders such a piece, the manufacturer will make such a watch and ship it from inventory.
Status: I need software developers who can come up with an application showing all the watches in a store. Once the application is ready we will approach the stores and ask them to use it to show to customers all the watches at the store. Also, once lot of stores take interest we can ask venture capitalists for money and open a website, do online marketing and make it available to public and come up with our own company. Just like amazon.com we can have our own company just for ordering customizable watches online. I also need people who can help us market our application to the public.
Skills: I am dedicated and hard working to make my idea succeed.
