Covers classical works in organization theory and surveys the main paradigms that are now active in the field. Also addresses how other disciplines such as economics and business history have shaped sociological thinking about organizations. This course is jointly offered by the Sociology Department as Soc 224 Organizational Analysis.
This full course will meet every Tuesday and Thursday for 2.5 hours; last class occurs on March 8, 2012.
