All incoming students, regardless of need and background, are awarded a fellowship which includes tuition, single-person health fees, and a living stipend ($39,600 for 2014-2015).
Although there is no formal commitment, it is expected that a similar level of financial aid will be awarded for up to five years. All financial aid awards are contingent upon a student's satisfactory academic progress.
Students may request from the Doctoral Programs financial support for research and conference attendance. Students submit research funding requests each spring for the following academic year.
“The generous financial tuition stipend and the research package at HBS demonstrate a true commitment to its doctoral students. Students can get research funding from within the school if they're working with a faculty member—or even if they have their own project and it's compelling enough.”
The application for admisson is now closed. The deadline to submit a complete application was December 1, 2014. The next application will be available in September 2015 for admission to the Fall 2016 term.
