How do we define success?
York on success
Transcript
Well, one of the things I really wish I had done was to reread Good Enough by Howard Stevenson, because I think he captured it really well. I had to speak at my 25th reunion from college, and I actually gave him full credit for my remarks.
But I really felt that he captured it really well, the four aspects of success, and knowing that you've had a successful and good life that's been balanced. So I really think that Howard's book was very important, and I've given it to a lot of people. When my niece graduated from Stanford, I gave it to her. When Walker graduated from sixth grade, I gave it to him. It was probably a bit early—[laughs]—for Walker. But anyway, he's a proud owner of a copy.
