How do we define success?
Stevenson on the baton

What's that Edwin Arlington Robinson poem? "My grandfather, in his house of logs, said things were going to the dogs. His grandfather, in the Irish bogs, said things were going to the dogs. His grandfather, in his old skin togs, said things were going to the dogs. I have only one thing to state, the dogs have had a good long wait." And it seems to me that, in some ways, it's up to the next generation to decide what they do with the resources that are handed to them.
I think one of the mistakes that happened in some areas here is the old guys tried to define the tasks of the new guys, and it turned out not to be a very effective way of passing on the baton. I hope that in entrepreneurship and real estate they will do what they want to do, and what they'll do is wise, but it's up to them to make those choices.
