Sahlman asks for Doyle
Transcript
I mean, at that juncture, you know, I asked Bill Sahlman if he would take on that startup, [which is what] It basically was. And he came back in a few days and said, "If I can take Linda Doyle to do it, to run it, I'll do it." So it was like cutting off my right arm and my right leg, because she was sort of running the joint for me. I mean, all the non-faculty part of the system.
And anyway, I said, "You bastard," you know? But I said, "Fine." And, you know, so I'd see them couple times a year, and they'd tell me what they were doing. Because, I mean, it's two of the best people we have in that generation. And it was the right generation.
