"At least one full-size model of [the 110-student classroom] should be constructed," argued the committee. "This room or rooms should be used throughout the spring term for regularly scheduled courses and used to test various types of visual aids, chairs, seating arrangements, and other equipment. … The committee believes it would be most unwise to commit the School to 18 rooms in steel and concrete without doing as much experimentation of this type as possible."
