Some of my key career decisions were sort of made for me.  I didn't really initiate the relationship with Harvard.

I had thought earlier of the possibility in college of being a college teacher of history, perhaps, but hadn't been very -- it hadn't been in my mind since.  And but I signed on, and I got out of -- I had to resign from the Navy.  I'd gone regular Navy.  That's why I was still in.  And I got out of the Navy on Thursday before Memorial Day.  And a week from Monday I had two sections at the Business School moving.  So I had very -- almost no introduction.
