Gender Differences in Health, Wellness, and Healthcare
Is there still a gender bias in health care? We got a resounding ‘YES’ from Paula Johnson, Anula Jayasuriya, and Jeannette Ickovics who stuck around at the close of the forum to informally talk about the issue that vexes each of them. These three attendees, who represent different areas of expertise, say the health care industry needs to recognize the enduring gender bias in all aspects of medicine and rectify it.
