Associate Dean for Faculty and Academic Affairs

    Bio

    As part of the Dean’s Office staff, Jean is engaged in an evolving array of activities and initiatives. Projects have included the centennial, W50, and other milestone commemorations; the opening of the Harvard Center Shanghai; and the School’s response to the COVID pandemic. Ongoing activities include faculty policies and issues as well as communications.

    Jean serves as the HBS representative on the University’s Conflict of Interest committee and standing committee. She is a member of the School’s Local Emergency Management Team and an HBS representative on the University's International Emergency Management Team. She is a Title IX designate and panel member and served on the University Title IX Review Committee. She serves on the University Benefits Committee. She is an HBS contact for use of name issues and infringement. In the past, she has served on the IT Prioritization Committee and as a business manager, IT liaison, and internal communications representative for the Dean’s Office.

    Jean holds a B.A. in history from Cornell University and an M.A. in English literature from Boston College.
