Title Associate Dean for Faculty and Academic Affairs

As part of the Dean’s Office staff, Jean is engaged in an evolving array of activities and initiatives. Projects in recent years include the opening of the Harvard Center Shanghai and the centennial and W50 commemorations; ongoing activities include communications, School-wide faculty issues and policies, and the HBS Campaign.

Jean serves as the HBS representative on the University’s Conflict of Interest implementation group. She is a member of the School’s Local Emergency Management Team and the HBS representative on the University's International Emergency Management Team. She is a Title IX designate and member of the University Title IX Review Committee. She serves on the University Benefits Committee. She is an HBS contact for use of name issues and infringement. She is a member of the IT Prioritization Committee. In the past, she has served as a business manager, IT liaison, and internal communications representative for the Dean’s Office.

Jean holds a B.A. in history from Cornell University and an M.A. from Boston College in English literature.
